fish bake

Creamy and rich baked fish is a fantastic winter dish for a change. if you are watching your weight this one is not for you, it’s very rich and creamy.

What you need

White fish fillets like hake or kingklip enough for 4
4 tomatoes chopped
75ml Sour Cream
25ml mustard
3 tablespoons milk
Cheddar cheese for topping
Salt, pepper

The process

Cut the fish into large cubes, season with salt and pepper and place in a baking dish.

Scatter the chopped tomatoes over the fish.

In a separate bowl combine the cheese, sour cream, milk and mustard. Give it a good mix and if its very thick add a little milk, you want a loose pancake type mixture.

Pour the sauce over the fish pieces, grate a nice amount of cheese over the top, cover and bake in a hot 220 Celsius oven for 20 minutes, remove the cover and bake for another 5 minutes..

Its rich, creamy and a real winter warmer.
