Peanut butter cookies
Peanut butter cookies are favorites of so many people, just make them, you will love them. Your home will be filled with glorious smells and the neighbourhood kids will have their faces at the window. (Strong position to be in- get a free carwash)
What you need
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 1/4 cups flour
The process
Mix the peanut butter and butter together with electric beater. Add both of the sugars, baking soda, baking powder and mix well.
Beat the egg and the vanilla essence together and add to the mixture, beat well.
Add the flour and mix well then place in the fridge for about an hour to chill.
Lightly butter a baking tray and take heaped tablespoon pieces of the dough, roll into balls, place of the baking tray and flatten slightly with a fork.
Place in a 180 degree celsius oven for about 9 minutes. The bottoms should be slightly browned.
Remove and cool on a wire rack.

Hi Andrieshia, Dit is belangrik om die peanut botter en die botter baie gooed te meng so gebruik wat jy het en maak seker dat dit baie goed gemeng is. (Hoop die Afrikkans is OK 🙂 ) Lekker day G
It’s just regular flour.. I’ve stopped using the term in recipes now seems to confuse regularily so I’ll take it out of this one as well. Cheers G

this is probably gonna sound like a silly question. but what the heck is “all purpose flour”. is it just normal cake flour or self-raising flour. i’m very confused
