This is a creamy, melt in the mouth fudge recipe and remember, the better the chocolate the richer the taste. You will be hard pressed to keep these for longer than a day! For a really special change replace the mints with grated orange rind and 1 teaspoon of strong powdered coffee.
What you need
40g strong peppermints
500g plain chocolate
400g sweetened condensed milk
50g melted milk choclate or melted white chocolate
Line a baking tray with baking paper
Put the mints in a bag and crush with a rolling pin until powdered.
Place the condensed milk and chocolate into a pot over a low heat and stir until melted. Add the ground peppermints(or orange peel and coffee) and combine well. Turn into the baking tray and spread evenly.
Leave to cool for at least 2 hours, then lift the fudge out of the tray and place upside down on a flat surface. Remove the baking paper.
Take the melted white chocolate or milk chocolate and drizzle over the surface with a spoon.
Cut it into squares and indulge!!!
