Fitness

If you are a bit like me, you go through phases where you train and look after your body and then also go through phases where fall out of your Gym or exercise routine and months pass before you actually get back into it. Well i’ve been through a few situations like this over the years and have followed various programs to get in shape and seen friends do the same. For me the Body for life program was a real life changer that I did religiously for about a year and a half and have kept the weight off even though I am not training much any more. Here are a few recommendations for you.

Huge in a hurry
Adding muscle with proven techniques by some of the worlds foremost body builders. Now I’m no Arnold and I don’t go to gym as often as I should but while I’m in there I like to convert as much into muscle as quickly as possible. If you have been gyming for a while and are at the intermediate or advanced weight training level and want to dramatically pick up some bulk, this is for you.

Women’s Body for life
I followed the Body for life program about years ago and dropped 11kg of unwanted fat in the 12 weeks and have hovered around that weight with about 2 kg either side since then, so this program really works. I of course used the regular body for life book and being the nice kinda guy that I am I put this one here for all my wonderful women readers.

Body for life
This is the program that I followed that I mentioned in the womens version and I am a living breathing success story for it. I must say that I followed it to the T, from the eating, which I found very difficult(eating 5 times a day) to the high impact exercising which I really enjoyed. I had a girlfriend at the time who was a fitness fanatic which really helped… so try to rope in a friend, it makes a big difference.

Eat right for your type
I have had a friend doing the Sure slim diet and it has been quite amazing to watch the weight drop off. At the time of writing she has been on it for 7 weeks and has lost 9kg. It’s all about eating the right food and I have had a lot of fun creating delicious meals like the Thai chicken balls that fit in with her diet. You eat quite a lot and it doesn’t have to be bland either. This book came in real handy.
