Frozen Yoghurt recipe
This is a little something special which goes very well with Hot desserts or just on its own. Try it with the improved Malva pudding. This is a real grans recipes from way back that takes a little time and patience but is so worth it.
What you need
1 cup cream
1x 225g tin condensed milk
2 cups fruit yoghurt
The Process
Whip cream lightly. Add condensed milk while continuing to whip.
When all the condensed milk has been added, fold in the yoghurt with a metal spoon.
Freeze over night in an airtight container and scoop to your hearts content. We used a fruity strawberry yoghurt.
Does it get any simpler than that? I think not

Hi Graham,
I have been making this for the last 25 years, the recipe being passed on to me by my aunt. And we never get tired of it! (but I don’t whip the cream, I just mix everything together gently).
My ratios are:
a 250ml tub of cream
1 X 500ml tub yoghurt
Almost a full can of condensed milk (I leave a finger height).
My favourite is strawberry, but raspberry is pretty good too. We once used a chocolate chip yoghurt and the kids liked that, but I prefer fruit.
Bye
Hi Dawn, That is a little easier than my recipe. thanks for the input and have to agree, strawberry is the best
. Delicious days G
and I’m going to try whipping my cream! Maybe I’ve been missing out
Hi Graham
Made this Yoghurt Ice cream on Tuesday night and couldn’t wait to get home to on Wednesday to taste it.
Well I must say it is one of the nicest Yoghurt Ice creams I have ever tasted, the family loved it. For me it was a little bit sweet, but would advise make it according to the receipe the first time and then one can judge the sweetness for themselves, as you will definely make it a second time. But this one certainly is a winner. Thanks Graham.
Fantastic Sharon, thank you so much for your input. There is nothing quite like home made ice cream..
Happy days G
Hi Graham,
